your kid has a straight up bullet hole through and through. i would definitely fix that up in photoshop and then reimport the layer... i'm not sure what to do about that sunflower background... it's just not working for this effect. you need something in the foreground, middle ground, and background to sell this look. with this photo we're only really getting a semi-middle ground. maybe find a way to push more depth into this. that may mean scrapping this pic and cutting the losses as opposed to battling with this pic.
